I Am... Becoming

If you’ve been asking, “Who am I now?”—this is your next step.
This 6-week devotional experience will guide you back to the truth of who God says you are, through voice-note devotionals, Scripture, and soul-stirring reflection prompts.

Let me ask you something:
What if success no longer looked like more?

More output. More effort. More pretending you’re okay when you’re really just hanging on by a thread.

I’ve been sitting with that question this week—not because it’s new, but because it keeps showing up in new ways.

For years, my definition of “success” was tied to performance. I believed I had to do more to be more. That my worth lived in how well I held it all together—even if I was falling apart inside.

And truthfully? That version of success nearly cost me everything.

I wasn’t failing. I was functioning. And that was the problem.
Because functioning can look like success on the outside. It gets praised, applauded, admired.

But deep down, I knew something was off.
I didn’t feel alive. I felt disconnected. Numb. Exhausted.

And that’s when I realized…
Burnout doesn’t always scream. Sometimes it just whispers, “This isn’t working anymore.”

So instead of pushing through like I used to, I slowed down. I got quiet.
I started listening—not to the noise around me, but to the voice within.

And you know what I heard?

Come back to yourself.

That’s what this week’s message is really about.
Not just pausing, but pivoting.
Not just surviving, but surrendering.
Not just managing burnout, but redefining success—on your terms, in your season, with God as your guide.

You are not falling apart.
You are being invited into something deeper.

Let’s walk it out together.

3 Practical Steps

  1. Get Honest About What "Success" Still Means to You
Are you measuring your life by someone else’s scoreboard? Rewrite the rules.
  2. Rebuild Your Rhythm
Hustle is not a badge of honor. Replace the grind with grace. Rest is not weakness—it’s wisdom.
  3. Lead Yourself From Wholeness, Not Woundedness
The woman you’re becoming doesn’t need to perform—she gets to be. Show up from that place.

3 Points to Ponder

• Where did I learn this version of success? And do I still want it?

• What am I sacrificing by continuing to push through instead of slowing down?

• What might shift if I trusted that becoming requires stillness, not striving?

Scripture for the Soul

“In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in trust shall be your strength.”
— Isaiah 30:15

God’s way is not the world’s way.

While the world glorifies burnout, performance, and achievement, He invites you back to rest.
Not because you’re weak, but because your strength was never meant to come from doing it all alone.

This isn’t about giving up. It’s about giving in—to grace, to truth, to the gentle way of being that reminds you:
You are already enough.

Final Reminder:

You don’t need to abandon who you were to become who you’re meant to be.
But you do need to be willing to let go of the version of you that was built on burnout, performance, and pressure.

You are allowed to rest.
You are allowed to change.
You are allowed to stop trying so hard to be what you think they need—and instead become who God created you to be.

This isn’t a detour. It’s a realignment.

Let your next step be a soft one. A faithful one. A deep sigh—exhale.

You’re not just getting through this season—you’re growing through it. You're becoming...

And I’m honored to be here, walking with you.

XO,
