This week, I sat down for a beautiful conversation that reminded me—rest is a necessary part of success.

Letting go is brave.
And healing doesn’t always look like doing more. Sometimes, it looks like releasing everything you were never meant to carry in the first place.

You don’t have to earn rest.
You don’t have to prove worthiness.
You don’t have to keep holding it all.

This is your permission slip to soften, exhale, and receive what your soul’s been crying out for.

3 Practical Steps

  1. Notice where you're bracing.
    Where is your body tight, tense, tired? That’s a sign of what needs to be released.
  2. Replace pressure with presence.
    You don't have to perform to be loved. God's love is unconditional, even in stillness.
  3. Let one thing go.
    Just one. Today. Choose ease over effort in one area, and watch what opens.

3 Points to Ponder

  • What have I been carrying that God never asked me to hold?
  • Where have I been strong at the expense of being supported?
  • What would change if I allowed myself to rest without guilt?

Scripture for the Soul

“Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
— Matthew 11:28

You don’t have to hustle for healing.
You don’t have to prove anything to be loved.
You don’t have to keep it all together to be seen as worthy.

Jesus never asked you to carry this alone.
He simply said: Come.
Not when you’ve fixed it. Not when you’ve figured it out. Not when you’re ready or when everything is perfect.
But now. Just as you are.

Let Him be your rest.
